Recipe: Parmesan Potato Wedges

I’ve always been a sucker for really tasty french fries, but have never been successful at making them from scratch. Why bother when the frozen fries are easier, right? wrong! here’s my new favorite recipe for parmesan potato wedges:

what you’ll need:

3-4 russet potatoes, sliced into wedges

4 Tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese

How to:

Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease a large baking sheet and set aside.

Place potato wedges in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.

In a small bowl whisk together salt, garlic powder, parsley, basil and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle potato wedges with the shredded cheese, tossing to coat, then sprinkle with the seasoning mixture.

Place potato wedges on prepared baking sheet in a single layer with skin-sides-down. Bake for 25-35 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender and golden.

What’s your favorite way to eat potatoes?
